Packaging
Revlon Lacquer Balms come in a glossy and metallic lip crayon packaging which is color coded hence eases identification. It comes in a twist up packaging and glides easily on the lips. I absolutely adore the glossy packaging and it looks quite pretty sitting on my dresser <3
Shade
Revlon Vivacious is a bright warm pink which has a red undertone. Its such a juicy and summery shade and shall flatter all skin tones. It sort of resembles L’Oreal Pomegranate Punch but that has a stronger red undertone compared to Revlon Vivacious Balm. This particular shade does not contain any shimmer
Texture
The Revlon Lacquer Balms have a smooth and soft texture which glides on easily on the lips. It does feel as light as as a balm and is moderately moisturizing but not as hydrating as a lip balm. However, it feels very comfortable on the lips and does not feel drying. Revlon Lacquer Balm Vivacious has a satin finish and does not look overly glossy!
Pigmentation
I had expected the Revlon Lacquer Balms to be quite sheer but most of them are well pigmented. Vivacious though, looks semi sheer upon swatching but is much, much darker on the lips. It gives an almost opaque coverage in 2 swipes and will adequately cover any pigmentation of lips.
Staying Power
Vivacious has a pretty good wear time and lasts upto 5 hours. After 5 hours it leaves a very strong pink lip stain which is only removable with a makeup remover. It survives small meals and snacks but needs to be touched up after a full meal.
Worth the price tag?
The Revlon Lip Crayon has a top notch quality but I cannot ignore the high price tag. I don’t know why every drugstore brand is increasing their prices like there is so tomorrow. This would’ve been a perfect product had this been priced around 600 bucks.

1) A bright pinkish red lip crayon which would flatter all skintones
2) Has a smooth and moisturizing texture
3) Does not settle into fine lines or accentuate them
4) Highly pigmented and gives an opaque coverage
5) Has a great staying power despite the creamy texture
6) Classy, glossy and color coded packaging
Cons
1) Extremely pricey

HBM Recommendation: Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in the shade Vivacious is a gorgeous mid toned pink with a red undertone. Its the perfect bright shade to rock this summers and the long staying power along with great pigmentation make it a must try unless ofcourse the high price tag is a deal breaker for you.

Just stunning swatches... I know they are insanely pricey for drugstore. Plus they have no offer like buy 3 for 2... Nevertheless I am gonna try one from each range because they look incredibly cute
