Street Wear Color Rich Lipstick 25 Pink Persuasion Review, Swatches & Price

Street Wear recently re-launched their makeup range and came out with a fabulous makeup range which is extremely affordable and is bound to be a hit amongst Indian women especially college going girls. I have already swatched Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick & Street Wear Mega Shine Lipglosses and reviewed Street Wear Pink Pirouette which is a beautiful orange lipstick so make sure you check them out as well. When I went to the counter to swatch their lipsticks I couldn’t help but pick a few shades and today I’ll be reviewing Street Wear Lipstick 25 Pink Persuasion.

Packaging
Street Wear Color Rich Lipstick comes in a cool black packaging with pop art illustrations. The range is clearly aimed at young girls and the packaging is bound to attract them in an instant. When it comes to the packaging, I have many issues- the cap is loose and after awhile the lipsticks keep dropping if you hold them by the cap. Besides that, the lipstick does not fully go inside the bullet and I always end up nicking it while putting on the cap which is sooo annoying!
Shade
Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Lipstick in Pink Persuasion 25 is a beautiful and flattering reddish pink with a slight coral tint. I haven’t come across a such a beautiful rosy pink in Indian brands and will look amazing on all complexions be it light, medium or dusky. The color is very wearable and can be worn to office or a date and even a party with a bit of gloss!
Texture
The Street Wear Color Rich Lipsticks have a moisturizing texture and though they are creamy but not overly so. It applies well without tugging and settles into a semi matte finish. The lipstick does not feel drying even though I have dry lips and felt quite comfortable on the lips. It does not bleed and fades evenly.
Pigmentation
The thing with most Street Wear Lipsticks is that they aren’t highly pigmented but are easily buildable. Street Wear Pink Persuasion gives a light reddish tint in a single swipe and you get good coverage in 2-3 swipes. It applies evenly and hides lip pigmentation well.
Staying Power
Street Wear Color Rich Ultra Moist Pink Persuasion lasts a decent amount of time considering the price. It gives me a wear time of about 3 hours including light drinks and meals. However, it does not survive a full meal but does leave a slight tint hence doesn’t require an immediate touch up.

1) A beautiful rosy pink which will flatter all complexions
2) Creamy texture which settles into a semi matte finish
3) Applies evenly and does not tug
4) Decent pigmentation which is buildable
5) Decent wear time
6) Super, super affordable. Every girl needs to own a few of these
7) Comes in a huge variety of shades
Cons
1) Inconvenient packaging since the cap is loose and ends up nicking the bullet all the time
2) Not intensely pigmented and the wear time could’ve been much better

HBM Recommendation: Street Wear Color Rich Pink Persuasion is a beautiful rosy pink which is bound to flatter every woman. The color is pretty wearable and is quite work appropriate. The texture is comfortable, the pigmentation buildable and the staying power is quite decent. For the price, this is a must buy and the best lipstick for young college girls and budget beauties!
