Street Wear Megashine Lipgloss Party Melon Review, Swatches & Price

Its been so long since I last reviewed a lipgloss. I had been meaning to review this gloss by Street Wear long time back but it somehow got lost in my cluttered stash and I found it again yesterday hence decided to instantly review it before I misplace it again 😀 Street Wear recently revamped their range and came up with an affordable makeup line including glosses and you can check all it swatches here. Today, I will be reviewing Street Wear Lipgloss in 6 Party Melon.

Packaging
The new Street Wear Glosses come in a transparent lipgloss packaging with a pop art illustration that is bound to attract young girls. Due to the transparent packaging you can easily identify a shade incase you own more than one of these. The lipgloss has a soft doe foot applicator which is pretty decent and applies the product well.
Shade
All the shades in the range contain shimmer hence I picked up Party Melon which was the only shimmer free shade in Street Wear Lipgloss Range. Party Melon is a beautiful raspberry pink which a slight red undertone. Its a very flattering shade and will suit a variety of complexions.
Texture
The Street Wear Glosses are very creamy and a tad sticky in texture. Its not extremely uncomfortable however I still prefer a non sticky formula though for the price I guess we really can’t complain. It is very hydrating but has a tendency to settle into lip lines hence needs to be evened out with the fingers. I have used their older glosses and I feel its pretty much the same just a little less sticky and gloopy, I guess.
Pigmentation
Street Wear Lipgloss 06 Party Melon is well pigmented and single coat gives a sheer and wearable wash of color. You can easily build it up for a stronger shade which provides moderate coverage. Those with strongly pigmented lips might have to wear a lipstick underneath for better coverage.
Staying Power
The wear time of the Street Wear Lipgloss is pretty decent as it lasts upto 2-3 hours. Due to the slightly sticky it tends to survive small meals and even a snack! 2 hours is the average wear time I get for most of my glosses hence no complaints in this aspect.

1) A pretty raspberry pink which will flatter all complexions

4) Sheer to buildable pigmentation
5) Cute packaging which comes with a good applicator
6) One of the best glosses for school and college goers!
Cons
1) The texture is slightly sticky
2) Tends to settle into fine lines a bit
HBM Rating
HBM Recommendation: Street Wear Color Rich Mega Shine Lipgloss in Party Melon is a very flattering raspberry pink which can be played down for a subtle wash of color or built up to get a good color pay off. The wear time is decent and though the texture is a bit sticky, I totally recommend it to school/college going girls as this is very easy on the pocket and for 150 bucks I don’t mind the slight stickiness!
