Packaging
TBS Vanilla Bliss Body Butter comes in a cream colored round tub packaging with a screw on cap. You need to dip in your fingers to get the product making it a bit unhygienic but that makes sure you end up using the whole product and that there is no wastage. It has the list of ingredients, date of manufacturing & expiry and other necessary details mentioned below the tub. Its a bit bulky so not very travel friendly but you can get it in a travel size for those purposes.
Texture & Scent
The first thing that hits you is the warm vanilla smell that makes me crave for a cake! The scent isn’t artificial at all and is very enticing to the sense. Love love LOVE it! It is strong but not overwhelming for the senses. The first time I applied it my mum said “cake ki kushboo kahan se aa rahi hai” :p This and Moringa are the only body butters that I’m applying this season. It has won over Strawberry, Vitamin E & Cocoa Butter
Texture wise its very thick and hydrating. It melts into the skin effortlessly and does not feel greasy at all. This is meant for “all skin types” and it does not feel too heavy for my normal skin in winters. While at the same time it adequately moisturizes my Mom’s dry skin.
Efficacy & Staying Power
This keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day and the scent lingers on for a long time making me feel all warm and gooey inside. I do not require re-application throughout the day and it certainly hold true for the 24-hour claim!
Worth the high price tag?
Well I’m on the fence when it comes to the price tag. TBS Body Butters are anyway pricey and I’m not at all happy about the increase in prices. LE Body Butters usually cost Rs1095 but now they increased it to Rs 1295 *jaw drop* The quality is top notch but I don’t see myself spending so much on this again and that is exactly why I’m cutting major points.
Pros
1) Creamy,smooth & hydrating
2) Gets easily absorbed into the skin and does not feel greasy
3) Smells deliciously of cakes and vanilla icing!!
4) The scent isn’t overpowering and lasts a good amount of time
5) Keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day
6) Perfect for very dry to normal skin
Cons
1) Limited Edition
2) Extremely expensive making it a luxury for some!
HBM Rating
HBM Recommendation: TBS Vanilla Bliss Body Butter is thick and creamy which adequately moisturizes all skin types. The hydration lasts throughout the day and does not require re-application. It has a mouth watering vanilla scent which is very uplifting for the senses. However, the high price tag burns a hold in my pocket so I’ll leave that decision upto you. If you don’t mind shelling out 1300 bucks on a body butter then certainly go ahead and buy it. You’re gonna ♥ it
