Packaging
The palette is packaged in a taupe-brown cardboard box. The palette itself is covered with a velvety chocolate brown case. The velvet does look royal and classy but attracts all the dust and fuzz hence it gets dirty really quick. It is very sleek and has a magnetic closure, both making it great to travel with. Inside the palette, there are 12 warm toned rectangular eye shadows. The Urban Decay Naked palette also comes with a small mirror and a double ended brush for application.
The brush has Urban Decay Naked embossed over it. The hair of the brush are synthetic and are soft as well as gentle on the skin. One end of the brush is meant for packing the color and the other to blend it.

Shades
The UD Naked Palette contains 12 neutral eyeshadows. All the colors are warm-toned bronzy-neutrals. These eyeshadows look breathtaking on all skin tones, especially olive and Indian skin tones. There are a mix of 10 shimmers, frosts, glitters and 2 matte shadows. The neutral palette is extremely versatile. It can be used to achieve an everyday look or even a very dramatic smokey eye for the night.
- Virgin is a shimmery off-white color.
- Sin is a champagne pink with a shimmery finish.
- Naked is a matte beige-brown. It will look great as a transition colour.
- Sidecar is a shimmery, pale bronze eyeshadow.
- Buck is a matte brown. And will be perfect as crease color for Indian skin tones.
- Half Baked is a gold with a frost-metallic finish.
- Smog is a bronze with beautiful shimmer.
- Darkhorse is a deep chocolate brown with flecks of bronze glitter.
- Toasted is a pinkish mauve color with a shimmery finish.

Is Urban Decay Naked Palette Worth The Hype?
Texture & Pigmentation
The shadows are very soft and powdery to touch. They are not at all chalky or patchy. All the shades go on the lids like a dream and blend in seamlessly. The micro-glitter in the shades like Half-baked and Creep have slight fall-out which can be dusted off with a powder brush. The frost finish of the Urban Decay Naked 1 palette eyeshadows can be maximized by using them with a wet brush. All the shades are highly pigmented, except Creep. Creep is a disappointment as it has low pigment and did not appear black at all.
Staying Power
The shadows in the Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette stay on the lids for 6 hours without any primer or base. With a good primer, they have a wear time of 8-9 hours easily. Which makes it great for work, parties and weddings.
