ZA Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation OC 30 Review, Swatches, Price & Buy Online India
With the weather being really humid, I avoid apply alot of base makeup products which only makes me sweat further. However, ZA recently sent me across their new foundation which is exactly what the weather demands- water based, lightweight, oil free and long lasting so I decided to give this a try for some weeks. So, today I shall be reviewing the ZA Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation in OC 30, which is the darkest shade in the range 🙂

Product Description

Packaging
The ZA Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation comes in a small beige colored bottle with a rose gold metallic cap. You need to squeeze the bottle to dispense the product which helps in controlling the amount needed. The plastic bottle definitely isn’t so attractive but it is travel friendly as you need not worry about breakage. The bottle comes packaged in a plastic box which mentions all the necessary details on it.
Texture
The ZA Perfect Fit Foundation has a runny consistency. It almost feels like water on the skin and is a dream to blend. The texture is very lightweight and will not clog the pores making it perfect for sensitive skin. It does not make me sweat and is pretty moisturizing too though those with dry skin will need to prep their skin well.

Finish
Sometimes brands can be so confusing with their claims. This ZA Foundation claims to be an oil free, shine free formula which illuminates the skin. So basically they’re trying to cater to both dry and oily skin beauties. Someone like me who has an combination-oily skintype would want something matte and for a person who has dry skin would want something more nourishing rather than this lightweight formula, right? Anyhoo, the foundation gives a natural dewy finish which makes my skin oily after say 3-4 hours hence I make sure I mattify the base with L’Oreal Mat Magique Transforming Powder.
Shade
The biggest issue I have with this range is the shade selection. Almost all the shades are pink toned and pale for the Indian skin and only the darkest shade ie OC 30, the one that I have will suit fair-medium skintone. I am an NC 30-35 in MAC and upon blending, the shade feels a wee bit ashy on me but can be worked with. I wish they had launched more warm tones and darker shades to suit the Indian complexion.
Coverage & Staying Power
The Perfect Fit Foundation provides a sheer to medium coverage. I love such foundations for everyday wear which cover your flaws but do not make you look too made up. My major concern are my huge deep dark circles which is the only place I end up using a concealer as other pigmentation, specifically around my chin area is taken care of by the foundation. The foundation stays put for a good 6-7 hours but my face gets oily after just 3-4 hours, especially my T- zone. So if you’re the sort of person who usually stays outdoors and has an oily skin, then this isn’t the one for you.

HBM Recommendation: The ZA Perfect Fit Liquid Foundation is a lightweight everyday foundation which gives a dewy finish. It does not feel heavy and provides sheer to buildable coverage with a good wear time. It does make my skin oily after 3-4 hours hence it is not so suitable for those with very oily skin. My major gripe is the lack of warmer shades in the range making it harder to find a shade that matches your skintone.

agree that not many shade is there that matches darker skintones..This is very sheer coverage foundation....I still need to cover up my dark circles and blemishes befr putting this one...But my dry skin likes this during winter months...
Yep, you do need a concealer for dark circles though I find the coverage to be buildable!
Will probably use this in winters too.
