There was a time when I used to worry about barely posting any base products on HBM and look at us now. Its raining foundation reviews and today we have the newly launched ZA True White Liquid Foundation in OC 30 under the limelight. The ZA True White Two Way Foundation has worked really well for me and was my exact match so lets find out if the liquid foundation is equally good or not!

Packaging
The ZA Liquid Foundation comes in a beautiful glass bottle which is curved in the middle making it a bit steadier to hold. I love how chic it looks and has found a permanent place in my makeup organizer because it looks too pretty. It has a pump dispenser which dispenses just the right quantity and makes usage an absolute breeze. The bottle seems sturdy but since it is made of glass, it might not the best bet for travelling.
Texture
The consistency of the ZA True White Liquid Foundation is of a creamy-liquid texture. Slightly heavier in feel but applies very easily onto the face. It blends well without settling down into dry patches or fine lines. I usually apply it with the Original Beauty Blender or a stippling brush which applies the product well.
Shade
ZA True White Liquid Foundation OC 30 is a medium beige shade which will suit medium- wheatish skintone very well. Its a bit darker for me but I balance it out with a lighter shade of powder. What I love the most is that it has a strong yellow undertone hence will not look ashy on the warm Indian complexion. The range primarily consists of warm undertones and they only have one with a pink undertone – PO 10
Finish
The ZA Foundation is absolutely perfect for those with dry to combination skin. It is moisturizing and gives a beautiful dewy finish. Those with dry skin will require a moisturizer underneath but normal to combination skinned beauties can get away with it. It is definitely the best foundation for dry skin in India and you’ll just love the healthy glow it imparts. I usually prefer matte foundations in summers but the ZA True White Foundation is the perfect winter foundation due to the dewy finish.
Coverage
The ZA True White Foundation gives medium coverage which hides my dark circles and slight discoloration extremely well. This is a great foundation for everyday wear and gives decent sun protection as well due to SPF 25. Sadly, it is not suitable for parties or flash photography because of the higher SPF content.
Staying Power
It keeps my face shine free for about 4-5 hours after which I start noticing some oiliness on my nose and forehead. It is a long lasting foundation but the staying power will definitely be less impressive in summers. You’ll probably need to powder your face after a few hours if you have combi-oily skin.

6) Most of the shade will suit the Indian skintone well

1) Not suitable for oily skin or combination skin in summers

HBM Recommendation: ZA True White Liquid Foundation is creamy, easily blendable and provides medium coverage. It imparts a lovely healthy glow to the skin and is the best foundation for winters for dry to combination skintype. It is long lasting and is great for everyday wear. The only downside might be the slightly higher price but I totally find it worth it!
